A restraint assembly for a concrete-filled metal deck complies with NFPA 13 Figure A.18.6.1 (b). A threaded fastener anchors into the bottom flute of the metal deck with a minimum one-inch clearance dimension. A restraint strap attaches at the anchor point and connects to a seismic brace wire maintaining a one-and-a-half-inch spacing parameter.
