An existing wide-flange beam supports a metal deck and existing stud wall framing with an attached stud wall support. New parapet framing connects to the assembly using a new 600T150-54 track and a built-up header composed of two 800S162-54 studs and top and bottom track members. The built-up header components are fastened together using number 12 self-drilling sheet metal screws spaced at six inches on center typically.
