This seismic sway brace assembly secures fire protection piping against lateral and longitudinal seismic forces using structural attachment brackets, brace pipe, and a pipe clamp. The vertical and diagonal brace pipes connect to overhead structural attachments at one end and clamp around the sprinkler pipe at the other. The diagonal brace is installed at an angle between forty-five and fifty-nine degrees relative to the vertical, with a note strictly prohibiting bending the brace past ninety degrees. Fasteners and adjustment bolts secure the brace components to maintain proper alignment and tension.
