A vertical stud or post is anchored to a concrete flooring slab using a three-and-a-half inch diameter by ten gauge minimum flange foot. The assembly is secured against shear and uplift with one three-eighths inch stainless steel expansion anchor of type Hilti KB-TZ2 with a two-and-a-half inch embedment, installed per ICC-ES ESR-4266 with a torque test of thirty foot-pounds. A stainless steel cap nut trims the stud at the anchor location. Two number-ten self-tapping screws secure the post to the flange foot after final adjustment.
