A stainless steel cart bumper and crash rail assembly mounts to a wall. The crash rail is formed from 16-gauge type 304 stainless steel with a #4 satin finish and factory-installed end caps. It is secured with fasteners through a formed 16-gauge stainless steel mounting bracket that features pre-drilled mounting holes spaced 32 inches on center. A stainless steel pop rivet, field-installed by the manufacturer, connects the components. Below the crash rail, a cove base sits above the finished floor as specified by the architect, positioned 4 inches above the floor level.
