A floor expansion joint cover assembly is secured to a concrete slab. The joint assembly is centered with equal dimensions on each side and incorporates a 3x3x14 gauge by two-foot-long member centered on each side of the unit. The assembly is anchored to the concrete floor using two half-inch expansion anchors and fastened to the unit with four number-eight screws. The spacing includes a twenty-two-inch span between anchors and a one-inch setback from the edge.
