An intelligent heat detector base mounts to a three-gang ring secured onto a four-inch square two-and-one-eighth-inch deep electrical box. The signaling line circuit loop connects from the fire alarm control panel or a previous device into terminals one and two, while continuing onward to the next device on the loop.
