This housekeeping pad detail specifies a minimum five thousand PSI concrete mix reinforced with number four rebar at twelve inches on center each way in both top and bottom layers. The pad requires a minimum thickness of four inches above grade with plan dimensions extending eight inches beyond the equipment width and depth on all sides. Electrical switchboards and distribution boards installed on the pad must maintain a maximum switch handle height of six feet seven inches from the grade level to the center of the handle.
NOTES: WHEN INSTALLED ON PAD, SWITCHBOARDS AND DISTRIBUTION BOARDS SWITCH HANDLES SHALL NOT EXCEED 6'-7" FROM GRADE LEVEL TO CENTER OF SWITCH HANDLE. PROVIDE A PAD THICKNESS OF MIN 4" ABOVE GRADE.
