An exterior card reader and intercom call station are mounted on a four-inch galvanized rigid conduit post painted safety yellow. A protective rainhood extends six inches from the faceplate, while internal routing consists of a one-inch conduit connecting to the main telecom room. The post is anchored within a twelve-inch diameter concrete pole bumper featuring a 2-1/2 inch slot for conduit routing and bedded on structural clean gravelly sand. Mounting height is coordinated with the owner, and shop drawings require approval prior to construction.
