A reinforced concrete housekeeping pad sits atop an existing concrete floor slab with an integrated blockout to secure floor-mounted electrical equipment. The pad is reinforced with number four rebar placed at twelve inches on center each way in the center of the pad, and features a three-quarter-inch chamfer along its top perimeter edge. Five-eighths-inch diameter J-bolts are anchored into the pad at a maximum spacing of twenty-four inches on center around the perimeter. Drop-in anchors and existing floor blockouts or sleeves tie the new pad assembly directly to the existing structural floor.
