A conduit sleeve penetrates a building wall with typical conduit bushings installed at each end. Fireseal is applied inside the sleeve per code following cable installation, and vacant or spare sleeves are firesealed as required. A maximum distance of three inches is maintained at the fire seal location. Minimum sizing of the sleeve for station cabling ranges from one-inch electrical metallic tubing for one to six cables up to three-inch electrical metallic tubing for more than fifteen cables, ensuring fill does not exceed forty percent.
