An eight-inch by eight-inch by six-inch square junction box is mounted above the door in the ceiling space of the secure side, connecting to a door latch power supply via 120-volt emergency power. A magnetic lock and proximity card reader are surface-mounted on the unsecure side at forty-two inches above finished floor, linked through three-quarter-inch conduits. An additional magnetic hold-open device integrates with the fire alarm central module and requires location verification with architectural plans.
