An industrial strip fixture is suspended from a bare metal deck using a manufacturer-approved chain hanger and V-hook type attachment. A one-quarter-inch diameter eye lag screw anchors the chain support to the deck above, with the chain length adjusted to achieve a minimum mounting height of seven feet six inches above the finished floor to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines. Fixture sway bracing is attached to the light fixture and the overhead structure to limit lateral swing within a forty-five degree range of motion in all directions. Structural and architectural drawings must be referenced for specific overhead attachment methods.
