This assembly consists of a four-inch diameter galvanized steel pipe bollard with a crowned top to facilitate drainage. The bollard is embedded four feet into a concrete footing, which is surrounded by a six-inch deep layer of three-quarter-inch diameter washed rock. The total height of the bollard is eight feet, with four feet extending above the finished grade. The pipe features three-inch wide yellow reflective tape applied in two bands as a typical safety marking.
