An air terminal extends above the roof near a parapet and stone ballast layer, secured with a through-roof connector. A roof cable links the terminal to a solid rod penetrating the roof construction. Inside, the conductor runs through an insulating bushing into a one-inch polyvinyl chloride conduit routing the down lead to the building column grounding point. Continuation of the grounding path references the grade section.
