Standard suspension methods for electrical raceways ranging from three-quarters of an inch to six inches in diameter. Beam clamps or hanger clamps are secured to the structural unit according to the supported weight. All-thread rods, sized for the load with a three-eighths inch minimum, suspend conduit hangers to carry the raceway. Wire is strictly prohibited as a component of any raceway hanger system. Additionally, raceways larger than one inch shall not be supported from the bottom cord of steel trusses.
