Surface mounted equipment panels with a maximum weight of 200 pounds are attached to metal stud walls using number 12 hex washer head self-tapping screws spaced at 6 inches on center typically. The metal stud framing references structural detail 8 slash S9.01 for structural support requirements. For masonry wall installations, panels are mounted directly to the masonry wall using anchors referencing structural detail 6 slash S9.02.
