The emergency lighting system connects to a twenty-four-seven normal power source and the normal lighting circuit serving the area through a single relay wall switch sensor. The emergency bug-eye lighting fixtures activate automatically upon the loss of the normal lighting branch circuit. Battery capacity must be maintained for a minimum of ninety minutes.
