Current transformers supplied and installed by the electrical contractor attach to phases L1, L2, and L3 above a typical breaker panel. Twisted pair secondary wires route from each current transformer down to the meter connections alongside neutral conductor N terminating at the neutral bar. Phase conductors route through the respective current transformer apertures before connecting to the breaker terminals below.
