A cable tray and associated J-hooks are suspended from overhead structure using vertical threaded rods spaced at five feet typical intervals. The cable tray rests on a Unistrut support channel, secured with washers and nuts positioned above and below the Unistrut member. J-hooks are mounted along the vertical rods and drop wire runs for secondary cable routing. All attachments are secured per the manufacturer's specifications relative to the finished ceiling plane.
