Low voltage conduits are installed within a sand bedding layer inside an excavated trench beneath finished grade for concrete or asphalt paving. A warning tape is positioned twelve inches above the conduit bank, and the remaining trench is backfilled with native material compacted to ninety-five percent. A two-zero bare copper wire runs alongside the medium voltage duct bank. The trench maintains a twenty-four inch minimum depth to the top of the sand zone, with specific three-inch spacings maintained between individual conduits.
