This electrical conduit transition details the underground run transitioning from a PVC Schedule 40 conduit to a galvanized rigid steel conduit elbow wrapped with a 3 mil minimum electrical tape with a 1/2 width overlap. The rigid steel conduit continues upward through the finished grade level. A rigid steel conduit coupling and plug are installed on spare conduits. The coupling location must be coordinated to match the location of future equipment where required, and additional rigid steel conduit risers are provided as needed for deeper routed conduits.
