An underground electrical handhole is set above gravel drain fill with a minimum eight-inch clearance and a four-inch offset at the base. Conduits enter the handhole through end bells and feature twenty-two and one-half degree thirty-six-inch radius sweep elbows marked with twenty-four-inch minimum burial depth to finish grade. The top of the handhole features a ten-inch wide concrete collar encasement extending six inches down alongside the upper wall. Finish grade matches the top surface of the handhole frame.
