An industrial type strip fixture hangs from structural steel framing and bare metal deck above via chain supports and a V-hook type chain hanger. A quarter-inch diameter self-drilling self-tapping metal eye lag screw secures the chain to the deck. Fixture sway bracing is provided to limit movement when the fixture contacts obstructions, maintaining a forty-five degree range of motion in all directions and attached to both the fixture and the structure above. The minimum mounting height is set at seven feet six inches above the finished floor per Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines, with mounting heights confirmed prior to installation.
