A quarter-inch thick copper ground bar is mounted at twenty inches above the finished floor on one-inch bakelite standoff insulators. The bar measures eight inches in width by two inches in height and features three-eighths-inch typical drilled holes. A number two American Wire Gauge copper tinned bare conductor from the ground well connects to the bar via exothermic weld connections.
