An insulating glass unit is set against anodized aluminum extrusions, sealed with continuous backer rods and sealant at the face of glass. The aluminum framing assembly connects to a secondary steel horizontal hollow structural section measuring 6x6 located beyond. Continuous backer rod and sealant joints are detailed throughout the interior and exterior interface junctions.
