A cord drop receptacle is suspended independently of the ceiling system above the line of the finish T-bar ceiling. The assembly hangs from a one-half inch diameter threaded rod secured with double nuts and Unistrut P1546 channel framing at each end of the brace. Seismic or structural bracing connects back to the overhead structure referencing structural details for support. A branch circuit conduit and flexible metallic tubing supply power to the flush receptacle located in the ceiling.
