Accessibility mounting heights and clearances specify a forty-eight-inch maximum and eighteen-inch minimum reach range for light switches, fan switches, and thermostats. A thirty-inch by forty-eight-inch clear floor space is provided perpendicular to the wall for forward reach to controls. Outlets located less than fifteen inches above the floor are permissible as inaccessible outlets when an additional outlet is placed in an accessible location.
