A new three-quarter-inch by eight-foot by four-foot fire-rated plywood backboard is mounted on typical metal studs with existing five-eighths-inch gypsum board. The backboard is secured using number twelve sheet metal screws spaced at eight inches on center with three-quarter-inch flat washers in a staggered bolt pattern. An angle bracket supports the assembly, and a cable runway ladder racking is positioned at eighty-four inches above finished floor with triangle mounting brackets. An equipment rack is integrated into the wall space.
