An operable louver assembly connects to an aluminum glazing extrusion positioned above a glass pane. A rolled transom formed from a 6-inch by 2-inch hollow structural section supports the assembly via a steel anchor bracket. Wiring runs along the horizontal extrusion and through the framing members. A face cap finishes the exterior of the aluminum glazing extrusion aligned with the face of the glass.
