A number two AWG green insulated stranded copper wire forms the peripheral ground ring, secured by a mounting base attached to the wall. A supplementary ground or unit bond using a number six AWG green insulated stranded copper wire connects to the ring via a crimp type parallel tap. The tap utilizes a Thomas and Betts Company C tap catalog number 54740 or 54730 as required.
