An exposed glued-laminated timber beam supports a hung 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 black iron pipe via building attachment brackets specified to handle a maximum load of 25 pounds per linear foot. The theatrical lights attach to the pipe using standard C-clamps. Power boxes and low-voltage DMX data boxes are surface-mounted directly to the face of the beam.
