A four-foot by eight-foot by three-quarter-inch plywood backboard receives two coats of insulated varnish and serves as the mounting cabinet for tenant telecommunications. A two-inch electrical metallic tubing conduit with a pull cord connects the backboard to the building telecom closet. One-inch conduits run from multiple device locations to the telephone board, while three-quarter-inch conduits extend from the board into each individual unit. A number six American Wire Gauge copper ground conductor connects the board to the tenant ground, and a fourplex receptacle on a dedicated branch circuit provides power.
