An electric strike and EU storeroom lock are installed in the door assembly with wiring routed to a surface-mounted proximity card reader on the unsecure side at forty-two inches above finished floor. A three-quarter inch conduit and additional wiring extend to an eight by eight by six inch square junction box mounted in the ceiling space on the secure side above the door. A door latch power supply receives one hundred twenty volt emergency power and connects to the junction box, with a one inch conduit continuing to the door controller cabinet.
