This assembly utilizes four threaded rods to suspend a transformer from the structure above. The transformer rests on a trapeze frame constructed from B-Line B22TH series metal channels. Each threaded rod is anchored to the overhead structure and secured to the channel support frame. The transformer must be securely anchored to the channel support, and all fittings and rods must meet the manufacturer's recommended support capacity for the channel series. Connection points to the structure above require coordination with the general contractor prior to electrical rough-in.
