Electrical conduit passing through a hazardous location floor slab requires a vertical explosion-proof sealing fitting installed on both ends of the conduit, even when routed into a non-hazardous location below. The sealing fitting is installed on a Type G conduit maintained at a minimum distance of four hundred sixty millimeters from the top of the floor slab.
