A 3/4-inch concealed conduit with a pull string is provided by the electrical contractor alongside an 18AWG six-conductor stranded and shielded cable installed by the access control contractor. A recessed back box is installed by the electrical contractor to serve the card reader provided by the access control contractor. An electrified locking device is supplied by the door hardware supplier with a two-pair 18AWG cable installed by the door hardware contractor.
