An eight by eight by six inch square junction box is mounted above the door in the ceiling space of the secure side and receives one hundred twenty volts emergency power. A door latch power supply connects to the junction box, with a one inch conduit routing to the door controller cabinet. Three-quarter inch conduits run from the junction box to the power transfer at the door leaf and to the proximity card reader. The surface-mounted proximity card reader is positioned on the unsecure side at forty-two inches above finished floor. The assembly accommodates an electric storeroom lock and power transfer for security integration.
