Switch location is determined by the width of the sidelight adjacent to the metal door frame. When the sidelight measures less than two feet, the electrical switch is positioned on the wall beyond the sidelight assembly. When the sidelight exceeds two feet in width, the switch is located adjacent to the metal frame on the opposite side of the opening.
