A junction box is recessed within the wall cavity against a stud or provided with supplementary support as required. Conduits route from the junction box to local devices typically, with main conduit runs routing to a low-voltage cable tray or as indicated on the floor plans. The assembly is oriented with the protected side clearly designated in plan view.
