A pad-mounted transformer with high voltage and low voltage compartment doors connects to a four-thousand-ampere main switchboard through a four-thousand-ampere bus duct and transition section. The bus duct penetrates the building exterior wall and is supported by structural supports installed on concrete pads. The transition section has a maximum length of forty-eight inches, with a minimum seventy-inch clearance span to the transformer pad. A side elevation section shows the termination box alignment and clearance dimensions relative to the transformer and bus duct centerline.
