A quarter-inch thick, eighteen-inch long copper ground bar is mounted to a steel column using fasteners and rigid steel conduit nipples as spacers. Burndy Type KC Servit post grounding connectors attach to drilled holes in the bar. A five-hundred MCM cable is cadwelded to both the steel column and the ground bar. A jumper cable runs from the grounding bushing to the copper bar where enclosed in conduit, with quantities and sizes specified on the plan.
