A galvanized rigid steel conduit penetrates an exterior concrete wall through a Schedule 40 black steel pipe sleeve with a core-drilled hole sized as required. A thick steel anchor plate is welded to the sleeve and extends a minimum of three inches larger than the sleeve outside diameter into non-shrink or epoxy grout. The annular space is packed with oakum, and both ends of the sleeve are sealed with a minimum one-inch depth of 3M Fire Dam 150 three-hour rated caulk or approved equal. The conduit extends six inches beyond the wall face.
