A transformer base measuring up to 30 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 37 inches high with a maximum weight of 870 pounds is mounted on a concrete equipment pad at least 4 inches thick. The unit is secured at each corner using one half-inch diameter Hildi stainless steel KB-TZ anchor with 3 and one-half inches of embedment installed per ICC ESR-1917. The concrete equipment pad is constructed per structural detail 4D/S0.11 for interior conditions or 7/S1.01 for exterior conditions.
