A ceiling-mounted cord reel is supported independently of the T-bar ceiling system using a vertical half-inch diameter threaded rod and a diagonal brace with Unistrut P1546 fittings at each end. Double nuts secure the vertical rod assembly above the line of the finish ceiling. A flush receptacle in the ceiling connects via branch circuit conduit or flexible conduit to the reel. The structural support ties back to overhead framing according to project structural details.
