The pole base is anchored to a concrete foundation using threaded anchor bolts secured with nuts and washers over a base plate. Conduits stub up through the foundation into the interior of the pole to house the branch circuit conductors and grounding conductors. A base cover conceals the lower connection flange. The grounding conductor connects to the fixture ground and is attached directly to the pole assembly using a self-tapping screw.
