An eight-inch by eight-inch by six-inch square junction box is mounted above the door in the ceiling space of the secure side, connected to a door latch power supply receiving one-hundred-twenty-volt emergency power. Three-quarter-inch conduits route power and signal lines to exterior and interior activation devices, surface-mounted proximity card readers on the unsecure side positioned at forty-two inches above finished floor, and an automatic door operator. A one-inch conduit extends from the junction box to the door controller cabinet.
