A wire mesh cable tray is suspended on a trapeze hanger, structural steel, or other approved support. A continuous stranded copper ground conductor runs alongside the support. A compression connector and wire mesh cable tray grounding lug secure the ground to the outside of the cable tray, with one grounding lug required per segment of cable tray. A minimum number six copper bonding jumper connects the tray to the electrical system. EMT conduits terminate nearby with insulated grounding and bonding bushings positioned a maximum of twelve inches from the termination.
