An interior security camera is recessed into the ceiling plane and connected via three-quarter-inch flexible conduit to a four-inch square junction box located at the structure above. Three-quarter-inch conduit and data cabling run from the junction box to the nearest data room or cable tray. If the camera is installed in a hard lid ceiling, the junction box must be placed in an accessible location as close to the camera as possible and labeled video surveillance.
