A three-quarter-inch by ten-foot driven Copperweld ground rod extends vertically through a precast nineteen-inch long by fourteen-inch wide by twelve-inch deep yard box, such as Brooks or Quickset or equal. A conductor connects to additional grounding points and joins the ground rod via an exothermic cadweld connection inside the enclosure. A precast concrete cover featuring lifting eyes and an "ELECTRICAL GROUND" label sits flush with the finished grade.
